Hello everyone who has ventured into this topic:

I will tell you my regimen, and it is your choice whether or not to follow it, but it worked for me. I have posted a picture below of the results. My acne was moderate, and was over my entire face (excluding my forehead). I had been dealing with acne for two years. However, I do not have a before shot because I had become camera shy, from the acne, which I am sure some of you can relate with....here goes nothing!!

Morning:

- wash with spectro jel, and a tsp of baking SODA (not powder)

- I am using a prescription topical cream called clindoxyl, which actually contains mainly BP, so I go back and forth between this and 2.5 %BP. Rub this on in sections, and gently. It takes a long time. You should do it in sections so that it does not dry too fast, or else it just leaves a film/ seal over the acne rather than soaking in.

- KEY ITEM: after about 5-10 minutes I use a pea sized amount of Aveeno Skin Brightening Daily Moisturiser (SPF 15). This even's out your complexion, and helps with red spots. It is expensive, but I would never live without it. have been using it for 1.5 years now.

Night:

- if your skin is oily, or you have make-up on, wash with spectro gel gently, and quickly.

- rub, with a cotton ball, Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with water. There should be enough water that the solution only has a slight color to it (roughly 1:3). Some claim that organic is best, but I use a cheap .98 cent one and have never had a problem. You can get it in the grocery store, I believe near the condiments.

- wash face regularly with spectro jel.

- after skin is dry, apply your topical cream (BP 2.5%, or clindoxyl)

- after skin is completly dry, moisturize with 100% aloe vera. You have to make sure that this soaks into the skin, rather than dries on the top of it. You only need a pea sized amount to cover your face.

Here is my picture...you decide!

I get the spectro jel in walmart....it's pretty awesome. You find it in the prescriptions section. It shouldn't be hard to find because it is a massive tub haha. It costs about 12 bucks for a 500 ml bottle of it. It's strange to put on at first, but I wouldn't live without it.

Also, no I do not have a before shot, only because I was, how do you say, VERY INSECURE. Honestly, if anyone ever put a camera in my face I would run away, like a bat out of hell smile.gif. I HATED ACNE. It made me this basket case, when really, I am the most outgoing person to date.

I work with this regimen still, and continue to have no problems. I have had one zit, but it was a whitehead, and it was right around my..well, girly time smile.gif.

So, give er' a go. I am not a miracle worker, just wanted to let you know what cleared me up!!!

oh- a ps, the aveeno daily brightening lotion is the cheapest at Walmart...if you so choose to purchase...I have yet to try the rest of the line, because I prefer my routine, but hey, who knows!!
