Everyone mentions that BP makes them red and sore which i am aware of as i use it myself but only very lightly.
I have started to use it and then stopped again several times, i am following the regimen perfectly but the BP seems to cause me skin 2 thicken and scab over. The scabs are red, sore and make my skin lumpy in places that there were never spots.
Am i having an allergic reaction??
On my forehead its fine this is just be the sides of my mouth that it goes scabby!
thanks
CRUSTY SKIN!??

Is it "crusty," or "flaky?" If it's just dry and a little flaky, it's not a big deal. my face looked like I was haeling from a sun burn for a few weeks.
But if it's crusty, and with that comes swelling, especially around the eyes and lips, itching, or some other form of rash, it could very well be an allergic reaction.
If it's an allergy, it will get worse instead of better, and you'll know!!

It just makes my skin very scaby and in a way does not really reduce the inflamation. The spot goes down abit but a scab forms over it, a very thin scab thou not a thick one as the skin hasnt actually been broken. I am very confused and annoyed as i dont know whats happening!

when yousay scabby, what's that like? Are you picking at i? Is it like the top laye of skin is flaking off over the spot?
Again, allergies usually: 1.come with swelling or rashes of some kind, and 2.only get worse.
you'llhave to decide what's going on.

i wish more people would help me out on this as i still have this crusty area of skin!
Its slightly raised in spot form! as in round and looks like a spot but its got no head. I have used bp and bp seems to have made it worse not better and i am now regretting using it. Its not huge and i can deal with it but its just quite annoying its been there for ages now and is abit red.
Is this a cyst, its not painful or particularly hard, feels abit hard but this is just the dry skin i think

I would go see the dermatologist on this. It's hard to tell what you mean. Allergy is characterized by "severe crusting" or "inflammation". When in doubt, stop the medication and see a doctor.
