Hi,

I just started the regime about 2 days ago. However, I'm just curious why would there be a possible outbreak (as mentioned in the site) weeks into the regime since BP is known to kill acne bateria? Is there any physiological or scientific explaination?

Also, is it ok to apply BP on the eyebrows area where I have a few blackheads?

Cheers guys! eusa_hand.gif

Nobody knows what causes acne, so you will not get a definititve answer, but we do know that sometimes acne can take weeks to surface.

It is ok to apply bp on eyebrows for most people. Some say it can bleach them and turn them reddish, but mine are fine if and when I hit that area with bp. However, I'm a little bit of a redhead anyway. Anyone want to chime in on this?

I noticed my eyebrows where lightening and turning reddish while I was using Proactiv. My eyebrows are still that colour on the regimen, but it doesn't bother me all that much. I'd rather have clear skin than perfect eyebrows any day!

I use BP around my eyebrows, sometimes I go right over them, but my eyebrows don't lighten at all (they are black). In fact, BP has never lightened my hair, clothes, towels, anything... weird.

I don't use BP anymore, but when I did, i readily applied it all over, even on my eyebrows, and I never had a problem with bleaching. I have naturally soft black hair that I dye red several shades lighter (without using any kind of hair bleach, yelch). The BP never even bleached the dye out, which is amazing because of all dyes, reds fade the fastest.
