Hey guys! I'm new to Dan's Regimen. I started it two days ago, and although my skin is still red and burning (probably because I'm only 15 and my skin is a little more sensitive compared to others), I can already see and feel the difference this Regimen is going to make on my life! There are a few questions that I really want answered, though, and I would appreciate it if anyone could help me out. I have very oily skin, meaning my pores are extremely visible. However, after using the BP Gel, I can see it slowly decreasing in size.. and I can't be happier! I was wondering if my pores would eventually close up if I consistently follow The Regimen? My acne is very mild, but I think that my oily skin plays a big part in it's existence, so I think that if my pores can close up a little bit, my acne will be a little bit better and I can maybe live again. Will this Regimen help my pores? Does anyone know what I can expect? Thank you so much for even clicking on my post. My parents have spent a fortune on me.. ProActiv..Clinique's 4-Step Line..all kinds of prescription medication, however, my acne never seems to go away. I thought it wouldn't be that hard to treat since it's not cystic and not severe, but I feel like my acne has made itself a permanent attribution to my once-acne-free-face. As a high school student, it's hard to stay focused in class and do little things that kids with clear skin take for granted. Like for example, I don't answer any questions during class because I'm afraid of attention. I totally changed my lifestyle..I'm a nightcrawler. I'm afraid of going out in the day because the bright light and the sun clearly shows my imperfections. Desperately trying to find a way to save my slowly-but-surely crumbling self-esteem, I found Dan's website. Unlike all of the other times, I feel that this is it. This will change my life..and I hope that I'm right

Glad you found it: this plan really works. i am 27, and just finally have clear skin.

I too noticed the pore reducing effects, a few days after starting the regimen, that my skin looked absolutely smooth, all those large, clogged pores were gone. YEAH!!

But it was not permanent. While my skin still looks much better, I do have some of those problems back.

I think it was probably due to some initial swelling by the skin, and that gave the appearance of smoothed skin, but as my face adjusted, it was more noticeable.

Try adding a exfoliator ( there are several AHA threads here. . .) to prevent your pores from getting all clogged up and noticeable. that will really kmake a difference.
