i've been on the regimen for almost a month now. i've been getting pretty good results so far.. an occasional pimple here and there, but for the most part, no active acne really. i do have redmarks, however, but here's the weird thing....
before i started the regimen, i had mild acne on my cheeks, jawline, a few on my chin and some on my forehead. my forehead is COMPLETELY clear right now, no redmarks whatsoever... my cheeks have redmarks, my chin as very light, faded redmarks. i believe that the forehead heals faster.. unless it's just my forehead. but it's completely clear... i hope my cheeks get to that point, too. is there an explanation for this? i am concerned about the prolonging of redmarks, because i don't know what to believe about bp prolonging them or not. the regimen, so far, is amazing. i love it. escpecially moreso now, i am no longer flaking and drying up, i'm used to the bp now.
revolution: are you on dan's regimen? you seem to know what you are talking about... by your avatar you look clear.

I've been using BP and the regimen for about a month now and I am SO impressed with the results! I had used 10% BP in the past and that was just awful. I have no new or active pimples...just fading red marks...well, my sking does not exfoliate well so I still have tiny, tiny blackheads...but I'm playing with different AHA etc. in conjunction, and it seems to be working.
Hell, I'll take red marks over new breakouts! cuz more breakouts=more red marks! It's all been said - we're all different and react to things in different ways. good luck everyone.

jenny, I experience exactly the same thing. I don't really worry about pimples on forehead coz the red mark goes fast, around a month or less. But hell, I still have red mark on chicks from my acne last year!---no matter what acne cream I use. And the worst part is...I get acne mostly on cheeks.

ive been using it for 2 weeks now and i think it has prolonged my red marks. It does take down the swelling though and being a girl i can cover up red marks with some light concealor but i cannot hide lumpy skin. I think that red marks must be more frustrating for guys, but i dont want to complain about red marks as they r so much better to have than active acne!!

I have been on the regimen for about four months now. I have switched around some things in order to be clear. Yes. Bp leaves red marks, my face looked horrible for a long time because of all the marks. My skin is very weird, I can only use Dans gel on my chin and forehead, because my cheeks will break out really bad when I used this gel. Anyway I purchased a 30% glycolic acid peel from Ebay and it has worked wonders. My red marks are basically gone, and I have ice pick scars on my temples, and they are slowly fading, and all it is is a 15 min treatment a week. Go to Glycolicsolutions.com or get on ebay. I got mine for about 13 bucks,- trust it is worth it, and Hint.... I have been using the New Stridex Power Pads with 2.5% Bp and I love them, so much and is working better then the gel and Neutrogena on the spot!- Hope this helps.
