A Friend... I don't want to get your hopes up too high as maybe your scarring is worse than mine but I have been using the vinegar for a week now... just dabbing it on with a cotton ball morning and night and not rinsing it off and I have seen my shallow dents almost disappear! I kid you not. I have checked again and again and really my scarring is disappearing, whatever light I look at my skin in! And my red marks are looking better too, though not so drastic a change as the scarring.

And, I am not drinking the water/lemon combo yet.. I kept trying to start but I am not keen on water so it will take me a while to get that going.

SO, hope you have as good a success as me!

FREEDOM FRIES?! Gotta laugh at that one :D Talk about taking things a little too far! Having lived in the States for 2 years I would compare English chips to American STEAK fries which are thicker than their normal FRENCH fries and similar to our chips

RandomUser - no problem - if it's easier to fill a 2 litre bottle of water with half the juice of a lemon - fine.

Like I said everyone - if you use too much lemon, your body will start to detox, and that can cause breakouts - so only a little lemon. OK?

laksa - thank you - and I think Oursfan is great too :D

A friend - for deep scarring, this method may not work at all - but will definately help with sahllow/rolling type scars and hyperpigmentation. This is not an overnight wonder treatment - I think you will see results in hyperpigmentation and skin tone withing a week (like I have) but you will need to continue this for a few months to see the affect of pitted scarring.

yo - I am drinking warm lemon water (that is putting the lemon in a hot mug of water) makes it taste better and easier to drink in cold England. I'm really pleased with your success.

I have recently been adding a little lemon juice to my water twice a day. I have also begun using vita k for blochy skin. I am not sure which one is helping the most, but my skin seems to be getting much better. The scars are somewhat less visible and I basically have no more acne. It has only been about a week since I have started this process, but I must say that I am very pleased so far.

I read somewhere that lemon is bad for your teeth though. I was wondering if there was an validity behind this statement. The lemon juice I have been using is quitie potent and I do not want it to have a negative effect on my teeth.

My final question involves the vinegar and lemon method. I have beenadding a little lemon juice to water twice a day. I was wondering whether that was the correct method. Furthermore, I would consider my scars rolling scars and I read that vinegar might help somewhat with those. Any help as to how and when I should apply it is greatly appreciated.

Keep fighting my friends. I am definitely seeing inprovement. I know if you stick to it and have faith you will as well.

In Christ,
Mark

Just read all the posts - it's all been answered several times.

A little lemon will not dissolve you teeth.

Lemon is not good for your teeth. I suggest not drinking the lemon water at all at night, ie, once you brush your teeth before bed do not drink any lemon water... If the lemon lays on your teeth all night it will give you cavities...

So funny hearing people comment on the the English and American comparisons... I lived in london for a year - Love that city!!!

I can't wait to start on the vinegar regime. I am so angry that I irritated my skin so badly that I can't start now :D I feel like I am never going to heal!!!! I am drinking the lemon water all day (hoepfully that will help the healing process) and staying indoors. But I wish my skin would heal already!!!! My husband and I were planning to go out of town for a short romantic holiday on Friday and I told him he can forget it if my skin isn't healed by then...

Anyone have any suggestions for aiding healing --- maybe I should put some vitamine E on it??

Ick I started last night after reading the thread... I felt like a concker and it stung like hell, my face went bright red  the malt vinegar now resides in the bathroom cabinet, much to my moms confusion

i used to eat lemons like apples. until of course it started eating my enamel off my teeth. so now i just put lemon in my tea or water or whatever and the erosion of enamel hasn't progressed any. as long as you aren't eating lemons like apples you should be ok.

To be extra careful you can just drink your lemon water through a straw.

yo,

Please forgive me, as I am vinegar challenged. I know what white vinegar is and I know what apple cider vinegar is. Are you referring to either one of those?? :?

Could everyone who is following this regime be very specific with results, and how much you are applying the vinegar and it what ways... I'm assuming your following Maya but she uses apple cider vinegar, and "yo" is using malt vinegar....

This would all be very much appreciated! Thanks :D

Yesterday I started using the (white) vinegar on my face, but I ran out of lemon juice after drinking it for a week. I used wayy too much at the beginning. :D

It feels really nice after you put the vinegar on your skin and my skin has started to look a bit better.

LAET, apple cider, white, malt, balsamic...i'm not an expert on vinegar but i would think that any would work. some smell worse than others. so use what you have in the kitchen or what you feel comfortable with. maybe try apple cider with mother.

Here's another vinegar question. Most days I wash my face three times. Would it be overkill using vinegar that many times? Does anyone know what is recommended?
