I have a question before I start this scar treatment. After applying the diluted vinegar on the face, will there be a strong odor that you have to stick with throughout the entire day. Also, is it ok to apply cetaphil mouisterizer on the face after applying the vinegar.

I am on my second day of my ACV treatment. I started off with a 1:3 dilution ratio yesterday. Today I tried 1:2 since it did not irritate my skin. I am only using it in the day fearing the ACV will make my pillow case stink. I would love to use it day and night though. Ill keep everybody posted.

11 days have passed and I have not noticed any improvement. I will give it at least a month before I make any judgments.

Hi Guys;

What I do is: I squeeze a large yellow lemon in a 8 ounce of water and drink it first thing when i wake up every morning to turn the acid in my body into Alkaline. I have been doing this for 3 months now and i saw a huge change in my skin within 30 days.

Then one month ago after clearing all my acne, i started using every single night the Lunch peel from Anaisskincare.com, i apply it to my whole face and leave it OVERNIGHT. Then I rinse my skin in the morning and I apply they Hyaluronic acid serum. And every two weeks I did the TCA cross method using they Scars remover on my scars only. It works like crazy!!!!!

Does anyone heard of the Acne-RX?

I've been using Bragg's Organic ACV for about 3 weeks. I apply it undiluted to my face after washing it while it is still slightly wetl; once in the morning and then again in the evening. It stings just a bit, but that goes away when it drys. After it drys I apply BioSkincare cream. I haven't noticed any improvement on my decades old boxcar scars, but the a cluster of 6 ice pick scars on my nose has improved, which really surprised me. They are smaller in diameter and seem less deep. I also started using Skin Biology's super CP serum in the evening and Exfol cream during the day a couple times a week as well as 590 (amber), 660 (red) and 880 (infrared) LED lights from the LEDMan a couple of weeks ago, so it is hard to know what is helping, but the AVC is every inexpensive so I'm going to keep using it.

It doesn't smell hardly at all after it has dried and I haven't noticed any odor on my pillow.
I don't know if AHA and ACV should be together.

Belaire,
Im glad it has worked on your ice pick scars. How deep were your ice picks in the first place? Do you have any rolling scars? How long did it take before you noticed improvement? I did end up applying ACV both day at night but only as a spot treatment to limit the odor. It doesnt smell however when I sweat I do smell it a bit.

AcnePwns, A couple of the ice picks looked like they were as deep as they could get, 1.0 - 1.5 mm is a my best guess. They are not gone, for sure, but are reduced and I'm feeling hopeful that they might be further reduced. I don't have any rolling scars, but plenty of boxcars, large pours and bumps caused by sebaceous hyperplasia. Yeah, I can see how the evaporation from the sweat would make the odor noticeable.

Thanks for the info. I hope you continue to see improvement. I don't expect my scars to fully go away but if I can see a 50% improvement in my scars and 80% in my shallow scars, I will be happy.

2 weeks have past and I noticed my red marks have faded very slightly. I think it's working but at a slow pace. I don't understand how people see improvements after a few days. As far as my scars, I havent seen any improvement but I will continue to use this method. I have nothing to lose.

Can you take the lemon juice and water separate?
so instead of drinking a whole cup of water with the horrible lemon taste, could you take the lemon juice by itself and get it over quickly, and then just drink the water as it is?

I'm not sure but I tried drinking lemon juice and water for a few months last year and it did nothing except mess up my teeth. If you use this method, make sure you use a straw when drinking.

on accutane right now. I feel tempted to do this to reduce the light scarring on my cheek. also, on acutane, ppl have commented on my face being reddish/sunburnt. so should i use this method??? can it probably heal the redness?

Ooh no stay away from this if you're on Accutane and until 6 months after you're done. Your skin is too fragile right now to do any scar treatments.
