the best light for me is the one that comes from an incandescent bulb, the yellow light? It makes my skin glow...and my features become softer and feminine.

you know... fluro lights give off a green tinge which actually counteracts redness.. and bright even light makes bumps and ditches less obvious.. as opposed to lights which create shadow..

so you prob dont look as bad as you think you do

Flouro lighting always makes the little bumps and ditches look worse on me.

Aww ObsessedwithSKIN, you seem like a cool guy though.

I don't want to sound ignorant or anything, and I know you've heard enough ignorant things, but if you haven't done this already, maybe one day you should just go somewhere, anywhere, like to the store, without makeup or if you absolutely cannot just go without it all of a sudden, a sheer makeup (that shows your natural skin but masks redness a little) and see how people act towards you. It can be at nighttime when there's not so many people around, or in another city, too, but see if they actually judge you any differently than they normally do. They shouldn't judge you the begin with, but they might not even care about your pimples as much as they did the makeup. And even though I think it's perfectly normal for a guy to cover up pimples, I know some people have different thinking, and when they see noticable makeup on a guy it can kind of freak them out way more than actual pimples would, no matter how bad the original acne or redness. And as far as girls looking at your skin, we don't pay that much attention to guy's skin as we do to other girl's skin (since we tend to compare ourselves to other girls, how aweful huh?)... so TRY not to worry about your skin as much, and people will notice your attitude and other things about you more. And maybe you should start focusing on other things, and get a GOOD hobby. Trust me, I've seen this happen already with a guy similar to you, he ended up focusing on football and working out, (yeah, how typical, but hey, it worked for him!) and although he wasn't super popular in the end, he was a lot more popular than a lot of good looking people, as well as people with beautiful clear skin.

And I hope what I just wrote came out as being helpful, instead of being completely ignorant.
I wish you the best always, and I know it can be very hard sometimes, (well, with acne, maybe all the time!) but please, never give up. Okay?
