Anybody with acne have a sibling with NO ACNE AT ALL? I mean, c'mon!! Don't get my wrong I mean this guy is my brother after all but seeing him not having to do anything to his skin at having it be perfect all the time is quite angering. Plus he's superior to me in every other sense possible. And he's younger! I think hes becoming an Abercrombie model or something. And me? I'll be able to have '45 years old' and 'virgin' in the same sentence when describing myself. Damn. Sorry I just had to get that out of my system.

My sibs had acne but outgrew it. I'm the only one in the family who had/have it bad.

Haha. I'm not 45 yet. I'm 18. I'm just complaining about a dismal future to get it all out of my system. Not that I judge success in life by 'getting some' I'm just complaining about looks. Sorry about that.

But is he really so concerned about being 45 and a "virign" or 45 and alone? 45 and alone is what would hurt me. I don't really care if I never have sex, as long as I was with someone I love who loved me.

ive read about u tryin to get tane, good luck. I got my derm appnt for it on thursday, hope i get it . Umm, my sister has just had her first serious breakouts recently, and i can tell she's going to have zits like me. I try to help her by getting her started on bp wash, and retin-a or something like a low dose tetracycline early on to control the zits, but she just says your mean, or ..... i won't be like you. Well, you do have the same genes, you've shown sign of zits, so why not just follow my advice? Ahhh, the joy and ignorance of being 13. I didnt care about my zits then, they were a non-serious thing i thought i would outgrow(which my parents led me on to beleive). Well going on 16, and things the situation has plummeted. i hate ziiiiiiits!

I think I will gete tane for sure. I mean minocycline is not doing anything and even if it will but the end of march, you can't take them forever.
I thimk your sis is being silly, but when you think about it, we were all like that. 13 yrs old is about when your emotional level on the edge. I think that when she's 16, you can bug her with "ha! I told you so!"

did u take tetracycline also and then have to take minacycline also before accutane, or did you never take tetra? j/w cuz i decided to try and skip mino because everyone says its literally pointless

no I didn't do tetracycline
mino though, it made me break out. Not so much on my face, but my whole body except for me legs! My arms were horrilble, like forget about shirts horrible.
My neck was bad so I had to wear sweatshirts and it wasn't exactly cold when I had it.
Now it's almost gone. Only red marks left. My chest still has some though.
My face - well I also broke out there. Especially on me clear areas. Now it feel like it's drying out so I think it will be gone soon. But I doubt that mino will get rid of all those bumps all over my face!
