I absolutely LOVE exercising, really! But it makes my face look worse, red marks are redder, and all that. Last time I was playing badminton with some guy during a 'fun' class, I fell down for no reason. I hate going to the gym, where everyone sees you. I can pretend my face is nothing when I don't do exercise, but when I do, I make a fool of myself!
I hate to exercise with others! What to do..

I don't know if you were simply venting, or if you wanted some suggestions, but what the hell...
The solution depends on the type of exercise you enjoy.
If you like running, riding a bike, lifting weights, you can buy some equipment and work out at home. That is, if exercise is the only goal. But usually, exercise is a means to a social end, and when you're playing sports with other people, there isn't much you can do; somebody's going to see you exerting yourself.
I go to the gym most days, and I have similar feelings. I have to give myself a pep talk before I go out, tell myself I won't look like an idiot, and so on. However, once I'm running, I don't care too much. It's pretty hard to care or look good when you're sweating and out of breath. Plus, everyone else is concentrating on their own activity, feeling awkward themselves, so they probably don't care what you're doing.
As for people that look good while they're working out, either they're very attractive, or they aren't working very hard.
That's how I see it, anyway.
BTW, I bet I look worse than you when I exercise.

As an avid gym goer, I can say that most people could care less how others look at the gym, including my self. Its a place full of sweaty, smelly people trying to look better "outside" of the gym and most people know that.
Now there are the people that do go to the gym to look good and pose for others, i.e. the girls that get all dolled up and stand near you and ask you to help them get the weights off some machine, the super buff guy that doesn't even really have to be at the gym to look good, posing all over the place and loading up the weights to see if anyone notices him. Other than those few exceptions, most people are there to work out and get out.
The only time I will say anything to someone thats looking lost, is if they are going to hurt them selfs on an exercise.
I guess if you really dont like going to the public gym, then they have girls only gyms to go to and from what I have heard, they are really nice. They wont have the old sleezy dude checking you out and you can look as goofy as you want. What ever you do though, dont stop working out, it helps in the long run

That’s some good advise, women only gyms are good for us chicks that feel self conscious. You will find a lot of larger women trying to loose weight go to these types of gyms, not only because of self consciousness but they tend to develop a more supportive atmosphere.

I'm actually not very much into going to gyms. But if I do wanna go, I don't see any women-only gyms here where I live...how I wish there are though!
