Anyway, I showed the rash to my doctor, who admitted to having no idea what the rash was. However, instead of just sending me to my regular dermatologist, he put me on a short dosage of Prednisone, a steroid, to clear up this mysterious rash.
So I started taking the stupid steroids, and within a few days I felt weird. My skin would get red and inflammed easily, and I was constantly hot and irritable. I had the feeling it was a side-effect of the Prednisone.
So a mere week later, I went to see my dermatologist. I showed her the rash on my chest, and she IMMEDIATELY identified it by name - it was a common rash that (as I thought) was caused by working out and physical activity. She told me that it would go away on its own.
So I was relieved of this, and I continued to take the steroid as ordered by my doctor.
But then, two days later, I noticed that about a dozen tiny pimples had appeared on my neck, as well as one on my cheek and another on my forehead. All of them are red. I was furious. All my self-confidence from the acne clearing up went back down.
So I Googled this f*cking drug the doctor put me on, and guess what the common side effects are? Acne, hives, redness, irritability! SHIT!
So now, because my stupid ass doctor put me on a medicine I didn't even NEED because he couldn't identify a rash, I am once again dealing with this mother f*cking acne. Jesus f*cking Christ, I can't ever win.
Needless to say, I stopped taking that shit, but there's no telling how long it'll take me to get over the side-effects. Anyone have any ideas?
