Personally I think its way more acceptable for guys to get acne...when I was little and "acne free" I never saw a girl with acne...so I assumed that girls did'nt get acne...that it was a guy thing...boy was I wrong...but even if a girl where make up ..which I do...if you have bad acne...you can't cover up every pimple! Like in this society girls are supposed to be pretty, and girlie. They supposed be young and good looking...soft skin,great hair everything but wit boys they have to be masculine,strong and tuff so even though it still maybe horrible for a guy...I think its even more horrible for a girl...but that's my opinion.....

not jes acne...a guy bein ugly in general is more acceptable. i alwayz seen fine girls wit ugly fat dudes. guess girls look more on the inside...

Whoa! Hold on there! What planet are you people from? I've lived here on Earth for a good twenty six years now, and suffered from acne for about 11 of those, and from my experience it's been no easier being a man. OK, I have nothing to compare with as I've never been a WOMAN with acne, but since I've NEVER been out with anyone on date, I've NEVER had anyone make so much as a move on me, and that most girls completely IGNORE me, I have a hard time imagining how it could be worse!!! Also, have you ever tried being a guy and walking into a store to buy facial products?!? Deep-pore cleaners, exfoliants etc? God, is it embarrassing, because all the adverts suggest that only women use these products. Us guys are supposed get by with a bar of soap and a toothbrush! Did you know that one show on TV actually correlated being 'gay' with how many bathroom products men had! This is the world I live in!!! And excuse me, but those whole 'women are less superficial' and 'it's easier for an ugly guy to get an attractive women' ideas just AREN'T TRUE. At least not in my experience! I think every girl I've ever known has been chased by a guy at some point. I mean, I once knew this short, overweight girl with fairly prominant moustache, and in the two years I knew her she was hit on a few times. I can't think of a single woman I've known that hasn't had someone 'chase' them, even if only for a little bit. It's WAY easier for a woman to get a guy than vice-versa. OK, so the guy might not be Brad Pitt in looks, or rich, but at least SOMEONE is finding you attractive. Look at me, I'm not hideous, but I couldn't get a girl if my life depended on it. Why? Because women are more demanding than men, more picky (as they can often afford to be), and just as shallow as men.

What you say is very true..I can't lie cause there has been some incidents where my face has look absolutely horrible and I would actually have a guy hit on me..I would think he's insane...but it has happen. With a guy its harder cause he's the one that supposed to approach the girl and its hard trying to talk to a girl and hit on them when you dont have that much self confidence and your face is'nt all that "clear" girls we have makeup..theirs all types of crap geared towards females..but when it comes to males and skincare its very limited....so I can defintely see your point of view...In the end this acne..IS HORRIBLE FOR ALL OUF US!

Believe me i envy girls being able to wear makeup...

I wear a bit of concealer, theres nothing wrong with it.
