JUST WONDERING..how many pimples do you have to have for your acne to be 'severe' and how many for 'mild'? anyone know.

I don't think there is a certain amount it all depends on the type of acne on your face if its, nodules, cysts, etc. but it also depends on the amount but I don't know if there is a certain number.

Yeah, its not the amount man, its the type. If you're getting regular cysts or cystic acne instead of whiteheads than It's prob severe.

As everyone else said, you don't measure severity by the number of pimples you have. There's a whole description on what's mild, moderate, severe if you go to the main site, acne.org.
Cysts don't turn into whiteheads, do they? I brokeout recently and i got a few that really hurt but turned into whiteheads and were gone in 3-4 days. Can 'regular' whiteheads be painful?

search google images for "mild acne" "moderate" "severe acne". that gave me a pretty good idea
