I am a French major, and I was just wondering if there are any Frenchies out there who wanna talk to me about how you feel about the war and the French opposition, and about Americans in general. It would be interesting and helpful for me, as I am studying this right now in school

Hey DaisyMay,
I haven't seen any French people around here (I think they don't speak English, lol) but there are a bunch of Quebecois who will probably be more than happy to talk politics with you. Moi, j'ai mes opinions aussi mais je ne suis pas francophone donc je pense que ca ne serai une bonne idee de pratiquer ton francais avec moi!

I'm with Vanessa on this, can speak a little french but probably not a good idea to practice with me since i'm not a native.
However I came across an ok looking site that can translate your English sentences into french ones, may make your assignments a little less painful....:

Je viens de tomber sur ce site et cette question: rapidement parce que je ne sais pas si tu lis encore ce "thread" mais je pense que les français n'ont pas été convaincu par les raisons légales qui permettaient à Bush de déclarer la guerre. Comment est ce que Bush justifiait cette guerre d'un point de vue des lois internationales. Le fait que malgré son "lack of justifications" il décide d'y aller et d'ignorer l'ONU just annoyed European opinion. Mais les Français ne considèrent pas les américains comme des énemis au contraire et l'amérique est toujours considéré comme un pays allié.
