only one week? well I've gone off it a few times, usually at first I'm prett clear then around 2 weeks later i start breaking out... good luck

I hope for your sake you stay clear but just know that BP is not a cure by any means, it is only a controller. The bacteria on your skin will eventually round up the troops and attack again one day (probably soon!). If you stay clear it is due to growing out of it or you are doing something else that's working.

clayjar, you don't lose acne by growing out of it alone! There is a definite reason which is probably because they're going natural... I've raised this so many times Natural is the ONLY way to clear acne 100%!!! If you use washes, meds, accutane or other prescriptions you'll be looking after your skin for the rest of your life!!

Well, I don't have the guts to try the No-Meds-Regimen, too scared of breaking out real bad, even if I completely clear afterwards.

Anyways, how is it going, xXIllusion, without BP so far?

That's 100% CRAP!!!...ok i've not used soap or ANYTHING on my face for like 6 years and still have acne.

The only reason my acne is all but clear is because of dan's regime.

DO NOT listen to this guy...i went natural for 6 years and only used water on my face and NEVER used anything else...it simply doesn't work

I'm not saying it works or not, but, if it keeps him clear, good for him. I mean if you find something that works, post it! I'm sure SOMEONE else can use it.

Lol funny dude... well i had cystic acne REAL bad but all cleared because i used just water...

I wash at morn and night for about ten minutes with HOT water// u can actually feel when youve taken all the oil off your face// then dry and your skin will be completly grease/oil free but not dried out by washes or bp!!

Ok don't go round saying that you don't grow out of acne because obviously many people do im not saying all people do but a large number do so don't throw false facts around. Also you can't say that theres a "definate" reason because as said above different techniques work for different people. To the thats 100% CRAP comment obviously its not 100% crap because it worked for him. People need to realise that certain regimes will work for certain people but not others just be civil when responding geeze i think we all know that curing acne isnt easy otherwise there would be no need for these forums just accomodate everyones view please.

I used to do the regimen for a period of about 3 and 1/2 months... and I had very mild acne. I was totally under control except for like one big pimple around that time of the month. Slowly I got lazy tho because I was sick of spending so much time doing it. So I stopped around this past April and funny enough I was the exact same then when I was on the reg. My reason for breaking out, I have discovered, was from my own constant picking, therefore spreading bacteria deeper in the pores. About three weeks ago I stopped picking, and have started putting neosporin on my face twice a day. Right now I am in the PMS week, and have No acne at all, when really this is my worst breakout time. I am going to slow down on the neosporin and see what happens, but I think the real reason why there isnt much there is because of my simple and irritation free regimen. oh by the way I use aveeno positively radiant cleasing cloths twice daily, and they have no medicine.
