My skin is very flaky. Especially after showering, it becomes ridiculously flaky. It never seems to end. This deludes me to think that I have dry skin. But acouple hours later, my skin becomes very oily as well. Especially on and around the nose, it becomes excessively oily. Furthermore, I still flake around the chins and cheeks.
Would a moisturizer help? Or would that make me even more oily?
I hate it.
Help! Thanks.

I have the EXACT same problem. After a shower, my skin is as dry as Death Valley. When I'm in history at the end of the day, my skin is flowing like the Nile. What the HELL?

I have similar skin to you guys, it was very flakey after a bath, then becomes very oily, I started using Clear Skin by Nu Skin, and has worked great cleared up my acne rather well but now my skin is just plain oily or it seem like that it could be the cream from the product but I think it's just oil but it certainly feels better than the dry flakeness I use to get.

I have the same problem too. I'm not that flaky, but I do have to put some mosterizure on after my shower. This part dosen't bother me at all. It's the oily part that does. The thing with oily skin is you can be standing outside in 10 degrees F and you can still look like you just were playing basketball in the gym two minutes ago. I look at pictures that someone took of me and my forehead is shinny and I go what the heck, I remember I was freezing then (or something like that). Anyways, my nose and in between my eyebrow area is the worst. I remember hearing someone say they knew of a mosterisure that worked perfectly for this problem. Don't remember what its called though.

I noticed that in the 15 days I have been using the Eucerin oil free moisturizer as part of the Regimen, the oilyness (is that a word?
) is slowly getting better. As crazy as it sounds, I was told by a doctor that when your skin is dry, the oil production increases in an attempt to compensate for the dryness. I used to use Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Moisturizer with salicylic acid but it did not help my breakouts. However, the moisturizer does help with the oily skin. I still use Clean and Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets to help when my hormones cause me to have major oil. They work great. Hope this helps you.

now the trick is to find a mosterizer that dosen't make your skin oily looking.

During the day at work, I'll pat my face with the plain brown paper towel from the bathroom to soak up oil from my skin to keep the shine down (sometimes it looks like I patted a piece of fried chicken). Before I go out after work though, I'll pat my skin with a tissue then apply C&C Shine Control Moisturizer, which usually works for the length of time I'm out (about 3 - 5 hours).
