just to let you know, from my experience, DONT use
the concealer pencil from the body shop (i cant remember its proper name), it might make you break out more, well... in my case they did!

A good bet is to check the reviews on makeupalley.com. It should be more helpful than the foundation reviews (ie the sheer stuff won't get great reviews, and a lot of the people will be acne prone unless they're talking about how it creases or doesn't crease under the eyes).

I use Smashbox's PHOTO FINISH Foundation Primer first to get a smooth, glass-like texture (but you don't need a primer) then Revlon's colorstay concealer and then I use a foundation over it to hide the pigment. I mostly wear MAC Studio Fix foundation but sometimes STUDIO SEAMLESS liquid foundation by Smashbox for special events.
