Hi

Well, I have never used Sheer Cover, but let me tell you why....

It contains Bismuth Oxychloride, Mica, and Trisodium EDTA

The bismuth will really give you trouble if you have acne, it clogs your pores and causes acne to grades 3-5 (5 is the worst, 0 is none)

The Mica is what gives most mineral makeup a 'glow' That is because of it's jagged particle shape. However, this jagged shape also allows it to become lodged in the pore, again creating more acne. This clogs pores and causes acne to grades 1-3.

The Trisodium EDTA chap and irritate your skin. It might worsen acne, it clogs and causes acne to grades 0-2.

For a list of mineral makeups, their ingredients and dangers, go to:

Good Luck!!

I used, and sometimes still use Sheer Cover (the huge kit they send me before I could cancel it). It goes on smoothly IF you have very smooth skin. If you use any acne medication such as benzol peroxide or sacily acid, it will appear VERY blotchy. Especially if you use Dan's regimen, I would not recommand you use it. And you have to be sure your face is completely dry, not damp before you put on Sheer Cover's foundation. I think the foundation only works well with their cleanser and mositurizer. But as I told you, be sure the mositurizer is dry. The foundation rubs off very easily. Watch out for the neck area of your cloths. I did however got A LOT of compliments about how great my complextion was when wearing Sheer Cover. it really gives you a beautiful glow. If your skin doesn't break out easily, and not allergic to its ingredients, I would think you should try it.
