BECAUSE OF YOUR ACNE?
Well… I’ve been quite embarrassed to tell my stories so here it goes.
I am 23 and I work in Quality Assurance. A few months before Christmas I got a second job selling women’s shoes at Robinson’s May in a yuppie, yuppie mall. Which might I add is far off from my character.
I had just finished my first 8-hour shift and I had an hour before I had to go to Robinson’s May. I was having one of those “b*tch days where nothing was right. My hair wouldn’t stay straight, I felt fat, my face was tore back, and I just wasn’t feeling that day for nothing! When I arrived at Robinson’s May I immediately had a customer who needed a clearance shoe and I had no luck finding it (they’re not always easy to find). While she was on her cell phone I said to her “excuse me, I was unable to find this for you but I have a co-worker double checking for me. Well at that time she acknowledged me and I saw she had other shoes in her hand so I asked if she needed sizes. She said “yes and walked away.
I then walked away irritated and said to myself “geese people are rude today (Mind you it’s right before Christmas and the mall is a zoo and people are sooooo inconsiderate)! Apparently her sister heard me and told my customer and then… oh my! My customer came to me and I apologized and made it clear I wasn’t directing it towards her but It was more less a generalized statement. She didn’t take my apology nor did she even want to listen. Long story short she was yelling at me while everyone was getting a show. I then said “ma-am if you would like to make a complaint (as I raised my arm showing her upstairs) you can go to the third floor. She then flipped out and said IF YOU DON’T LOWER YOUR HAND I WILL PUNCH YOUR UGLY PIMPLY FACE AND NO ONE IS GOING TO WANT TO LOOK AT YOUR UGLY ASS! almost flew through the register! I was also helping another customer before the lady confronted me and when my other customer heard what was going on, she got up in the women's face and there was a braul in the women's shoes department. They were both mothers in there early 40's. INow that's classic!
2nd story.
I was walking through the parking lot to Rite-Aid and this car wouldn’t stop for me and I say to the driver (as I’m in the middle of the street) excuse me, pedestrians first. I said this calmly, politely, and without and attitude. This lady (26 years old) rolls down her window and says, “Shut up scar face!
Moral to my stories. I can’t believe out of any type of conflict that people may encounter that someone could ever have the NERVE to be so rude and inconsiderate to another’s feelings. Call me b*itch or a slut, things I know I'm not but please, please don’t criticize me for something I can’t control. It’s like going up to some who is handicap and saying “urrrr, urrr, your stupid!
Thanks! I never shared this with anyone and now I can put closure to it. This site is more than awesome, thanks DAN!
If you have any stories please, speak-up!
I wrote this fast so my english sucks, sorry!

I bet those dickheads really hurt your feelings. I'm really sorry.
Okay, my story goes like this - it's not even a story really. One day I go to school, trying to forget about the golfball-size nodules on my cheek. (BTW I have had 3 golfball-size nodules on my face and a mole-looking cyst on my nose. The mole-looking cyst is still there.) And there was this fat girl who looked like an asshole that pointed at my golfball-size nodule on my cheek and went "What the hell is that on his face?" And she laughed as she walked by; it ruined my day. I know that my story is nothing compared to what you shared with us, but it made me fxxking mad. ACNE sucks ass.

my story is way too long for one. and for two, feelings are feelings. the validity can only be clearly understood by another if one has been there.

That is the bad part about society. They really don't consider Acne to be a handicap. Just a teenage thing. But, I really do feel for you. That's mess up that those people really said that to you. It's true what you said "it's not something we can't control" it's true. We can't control our skin and tell it don't brake out the next day. It still does. It's such a bummer people can be rude about it. Hugs to you hun...
