I have recently started taking Minomycin for my acne. After afew days it cleared up really well but i started to get painful blind head pimples around my mouth and jaw area. These pimples have no head and are severely painful!!! I cant even move my mouth or eat without being in pain. I can feel the head of the pimple under the skin but by trying to pop them is impossible and only makes them worse. I have also experienced problems with taking Minomycin. I become overly drousy and sleepy and often find myself getting blurred vision and headspins occasionally. I am only new to this forum and i was wondering is there a way i can get rid of these blind head pimples as trying to pop them makes them turn into a scab and become painful and infected.[/b]

Black Sabbath, I have been on minocycline for 3 days and get sleepy and woozy, too. However, each day I get less so and since it is now June I hope you are better. With the bumps, this may be all the junk coming to the surface so be patient. You should call your dermatologist immediately, though, just to make sure. It sounds wrong that you are having trouble talking or eating! :-k

hey man, just be patient. It happened to me too. its just all the bad stuff coming to the surface. I was scared too, but than i realized i saw myself clearning up after all the stuff surfaced. IF u get woozy when you take this pill, take it in the early mornings. Ex. 3 am , 6 am . Just keep a bottle of water next to you and set the alarm clock.

hey ive been on minomycin for about 2 yrs now nd although it originally controlled my pimples for a few months it has worn off over the yrs. im scared to go off it though incase i turn out worse. another thing i hav experienced the drozyness nd the headspins along with the cyst like pimples but mine hav stayed they have not died off like the above pplz. good luck xox

i use minomycin.... i sed to have really bad acne like not dots but like a big areaaa...i used minomycin for about 2 months...alll gonee
BUT i have shitty reddish brownish purplish markss
ive been on this treatment for like 2-3 monthss
ive had these marks for about 8-9 weeks
and i havent found a curee
