This make up seems pretty good so far.

I'm tanish asian man, and it covers my face really naturally. It's non-pore clogging and it's very natural looking.

I use their Latte color global base (which is a concealer, sun block, foundation, powder all in one). I brush that all over.

For extra dark spots (like new acne scars) I use their Disappear camouflage cream and another cream called Enlighten.

Pretty good stuff.

ALSO, I've look around, and these products are being OVER PRICED many places.

I get my base and stuff from Kaiser Permente for 25%-50% off.

my latte pressed powder base is $30. Camoflauge is 20 bucks.
Lasts for a while, because I'm not a women, so I only apply during needed occassians. Being a woman must suck.

HEY! evil.gif Didn't like that last comment... but yeah, it's hard having to buy that stuff all of the time when your a woman. I find that Jane Iredale foundations don't cover my acne/acne scarring up at all, how do you get it to cover so well?! ninja.gif It always goes on so sheer no matter how many times I layer it to build up the coverage. (This also happened when a makeup artist did my skin as well.) I always buy it though for it's water resistant capabilities, so I just apply it over concealer to make it last all day. It does do a pretty good job at that. Recently I've been getting a lot of blackheads, something I hardly ever get on my face, and I've wondered if it was either the Jane Iredale powder or the concealer I use under it from a different brand. I figured it might be the concealer since Jane Iredale is natural, so yesterday I just put my tinted zinc cream on my face and then applied the J.I. and it looked really good. I'm hoping it will work the same next time I try that. wink.gif

I went to my Aestetisian (spelling?) at Kaiser Permenente. She showed me how to apply it.

I use a combination of 3 items - base + mineral creme + enlighten

Whats the mineral cream? eusa_think.gif The lady that sold me my Jane Iredale loose powder was a makeup artist and an aesthetician. She used the powder on me alone, and was like, "Ooo, it covers well".. lie! eusa_liar.gif I was like, N-Ooo, so she used some other things with it but I still wasn't that pleased. I bought the powder though since it's supposed to be water-resistant. I guess I'm picky, but I was used to getting close-to-perfection coverage with liquid foundation (which sadly didn't help out with the whole acne situation) and the mineral powders just seemed to make my pores either stay visible or look even more huge. Not a good thing, eh?

tongue.gif actually, I always felt the opposite. It's pretty hard to make makeup look completely natural, and being a woman, I can wear makeup every day and not worry if people can tell if I'm wearing makeup...it looks good, but you can still always tell it's makeup.

I didn't like the Jane Iredale (I tried the pressed version). I thought it was too coarse, too low coverage, accentuated pores too much.

I've had the same experience at many cosmetic counters. eusa_eh.gif

I mainly like it because I'm a guy, and it does look pretty natural on me (tan/bronze skin).

I use in combination to their pressed power:

Dissappear - which they claim was created to cover up tatoos and also reduces blemishes.

Enlighten - a concealer that they claim also lightens up redspots and pigments.

Wow... how do you get all of that to look natural?? I felt REALLY bad today because a few people asked me why I wear so much makeup... I didn't even realize it was that noticable, but obviously it is when no one around you wears even a drop of foundation and has smooooooth flawless skin. Oh well, that's my life. Maybe I should just wear a burka. ninja.gif
