Ive spent most of my morning reading the majority of these 98 pages smile.gif

I've been using ACV for a while now (2-3 months). I can't make up my mind on whether its helping or not. Some days it looks like its fading marks, other times is appears to do bugger all. But I'll keep perservering with it.

I had a bash with the baking soda shit, tried it for a couple of weeks but literally did nothing so I gave up.

I think my last resort now is the egg white mask. I think it's pretty much the last available method that I havent tried yet, so tonight is the moment of truth I guess...

Hi. This is such a great idea. surprised.gif
I just want to ask if there could be any substitutes for ACV. We only have Red Wine vinegar, Coconut vinegar, and white vinegar.
Thanks! biggrin.gif

I went out and bought all the ingredients yesterday, did all the steps plus a 30% glycolic peel (advanced home actives) and literally I didn't believe how much better my skin looks this morning. Full disclaimer, I also use Finacea (I have a prescription) and Mario Badescu's Skin Renewal Complex, but I've been using those for months and haven't seen results anywhere close to this level. I will continue to use this regimen and do the other 3 glycolic peels in the package I have. After that I think I'll try a salicylic acid peel. THANK YOU. eusa_dance.gif

can those that are doing this answer a couple of questions for me. Lately I have been getting these welt like bumps on my jawline. They dont seem cystic but are slightly raised and red. I often wake up to these slightly raised spots on the sides of my face as well. They are not big but take forever to fade. I have tried applying many things as a spot treatment cause I cant stand looking at them in the mirror. I have this drying sal acid paste by clean and clear that i apply to a q-tip but it does squat for it. I have tried a sulfur paste and lastly and most recently an aspirin/water paste. Last night I added some honey to try to decrease the swelling and redness. The aspirin helped a little but some marks that looked like they were clearing are red again today even though I applied nothing to them. Bottom line: What kind of paste can be mixed together and left on over night to spot treat some marks? Also, is lemon juice for the redness and ACV for redness? I just did a Sal Acid peel in the derms office on monday and I swear it made my red marks look more pronounced...

hi. Let me first answer by saying I am in the same exact situation. I would really advise you to just follow these 8 steps given by delna as they did help me, a lot. I advise you to avoid experimenting with your skin with so many combinations as they do more harm than good. Also, you have to stick to particular treatment for atleast a month to really make the most of it.

I advise you to strictly follow this regimen. Use only your acne cream for those red bumps. Avoid baking soda on this bumps.

Drink lots of water, eat lots of apples and raisins. Try to have a clean and good diet and healthy lifestyle for a month with a positive attitude! and i guarantee you, you will start losing the marks.

I follow delna's regimen exactly and red marks are fading slowly away. Just have red bumps on my chin because of shaving.

I'm trying something similar, but instead of using eggwhites and lemon juice i use pure honey.

Month of trying this eggwhite mask, tried to do it every other night, or usually 3-4 times a week.

Hasn't helped.

Slowly running out of ideas....and the will to give a shit anymore

I tried the eggwhite mask just minutes ago, and when i washed it off it seemed to have pulled a lot of gunk inside the tiny bumps i have on my cheeks further to the surface, the same with a few tiny whiteheads that seemed way more visible after taking off the mask. Hopefully they'll calm down a bit over night.

I'm interested in trying this out for at least a week to see what happens :)
