can those that are doing this answer a couple of questions for me. Lately I have been getting these welt like bumps on my jawline. They dont seem cystic but are slightly raised and red. I often wake up to these slightly raised spots on the sides of my face as well. They are not big but take forever to fade. I have tried applying many things as a spot treatment cause I cant stand looking at them in the mirror. I have this drying sal acid paste by clean and clear that i apply to a q-tip but it does squat for it. I have tried a sulfur paste and lastly and most recently an aspirin/water paste. Last night I added some honey to try to decrease the swelling and redness. The aspirin helped a little but some marks that looked like they were clearing are red again today even though I applied nothing to them. Bottom line: What kind of paste can be mixed together and left on over night to spot treat some marks? Also, is lemon juice for the redness and ACV for redness? I just did a Sal Acid peel in the derms office on monday and I swear it made my red marks look more pronounced...
hi. Let me first answer by saying I am in the same exact situation. I would really advise you to just follow these 8 steps given by delna as they did help me, a lot. I advise you to avoid experimenting with your skin with so many combinations as they do more harm than good. Also, you have to stick to particular treatment for atleast a month to really make the most of it.
I advise you to strictly follow this regimen. Use only your acne cream for those red bumps. Avoid baking soda on this bumps.
Drink lots of water, eat lots of apples and raisins. Try to have a clean and good diet and healthy lifestyle for a month with a positive attitude! and i guarantee you, you will start losing the marks.
I follow delna's regimen exactly and red marks are fading slowly away. Just have red bumps on my chin because of shaving.
