It's wonderful when people post what worked for them in their battle with acne, but it would really be helpful for everyone to be honest about the condition of their skin. When someone with a few small blemishes has success with a particular treatment or product, it may not translate to a successful solution for someone with severe acne. Also, it doesn't seem to me that we should hestitate to ask for this information if posters forget to provide it.
