I can post pictures if you want but at first I thought it might've been a nodule. It's been there for about 11 days. But the dermatologist said it actually said it was a cyst of 3 mm. It's odd because I've never seen a cyst like that. Usually the cysts I have are really apparent and obvious. But this one seems almost normal though just a slight discoloration. He said that the recovery time should be about 3 weeks for that. What's your experiences with this? If you hadn't had one what is the typical experience?

All I can say is do not pick at it! Usually these things start out innocent but your curiosity comes and it creates that giant scar scab crater thing. Just treat it with BP and don't touch it!

Thanks for the advice. It's somewhat noticeable but I think it's somewhat in the innocent phases but I've learned enough from my acne problems not to touch at it. I do touch it sometimes... but I usually do a good job at not doing that. I'll keep doing what I'm doing then. And I hope it does not become a giant crater... that would suck.
