Hi everyone, hope this is the right section for this post...

I’m looking to buy a facial steamer in an attempt to unblock my pores / blackheads. Has anyone here had any luck with using this method? And if so, what kind of facial steamer did you use? I’ve had a browse on eBay / Amazon and there are so many to choose from! I know the more cost-effective method would be to use a kettle and bowl which I’ve tried with minimal results.

So, any recommendations? Don’t really want to spend any more than £25...

Thanks!

Hey there. I use steam all the time and for no money. Just boil water, put it in a bowl, put a towel over your face, and steam away. I used to use a steamer and it was the biggest waste of money. I think the free method is actually a lot more effective.

Ok thanks for the response. Think I'll stick with the kettle and bowl method!

I agree with the above, simple bring a kettle or a pot with water to a boil. Cheap and easy!
