I've been using Paula's Choice for a year, and it worked perfectly since last summer. I've had the clearest skin I've ever had, to the point where even red acne marks disappeared, my clogged pores (tiny bumps) were gone, as well as any large pimples... I could go makeup free for the first time in years.

For the last few months or so, I've been breaking out horribly again. I have tiny bumps all over my forehead and around my mouth, as well as large pimples on chin and forehead. The only difference I can think of is that 1) I work night shifts now (however I still do get the same amount of sleep) 2) it's summer, and I've definitely noticed my skin is greasier looking, and almost feels heavy, like it's layered with oil I just can't get rid of (gross, I know.)

Any advice on products I can choose? I've been using (all paula's choice) a cleanser (for combo skin), toner (same), BHA liquid 2%, 2.5% benzoyl peroxide, and hydralight moisturizer. I'm wondering if maybe I need to change up my regimen, or add something, try a new product, whatever. Please please please help!

I used Paula choices 1% BHA gel for a month and it worked but i was still getting pimples. I have been using an African black soap along with doxycycline and my skin is clearing. So I guess I wold suggest the black soap because my skin has been considerably less oily and it's super hot and humid here in NYC. I'm using nubian heritages African black soap with Shea butter and vitamin E.
