Hello all,

I'm getting ready to order a food sensitivity test to help me identify dietary changes that may improve my complexion.

Some background: food sensitivities are considered different from food allergies in that the immune response is delayed and caused by a different pathway than a classic food allergy. Food allergies are immediate and obvious, like someone that gets hives and rash from eating peanuts. Food sensitivities often present no obvious physical symptoms and are diagnosed using a different test methodology than classic food allergies. Of course, some doctors believe food sensitivity testing is accurate and valid and others discount the entire concept as quackery.

But many people believe that food sensitivities contribute to acne.

In any case - has anyone here purchased an IgG ELISA based food sensitivity test? Did you try eliminating foods based on the results? How was your experience? Apparently their is a large difference in the quality and reliability amongst the various labs and I am trying to find the best.

Thanks much
