Hey Everyone! I've been on this forum and have been posting here and there, but as a lot of you, I've been extremely embarassed/disgusted at posting pictures of my journey.

Therefore, I kept personal pictures for myself but today, I decided, upon the completion of my third month [ I started Accutane around the 23rd of February] , to post them for you.

I hope it gives some of you a sort of companionship, and I'm here if anybody has questions. I'm on 40mg 2x a day--- thus , as you can imagine, side effects should be killing me. But , they aren't.. surprisingly.
I've had, like most of you, DRY lips, Dry nasal passages, but I've also had a tremendous amount of pain like 2x a month; muscular pain, to the point that, I can barely walk. But it lasts about an hour or so, and I can pull through it. What's been the worst for me, as mentioned above, is the dry nose. It's gross, It always feels itchy but vaseline has been my BFF. BESIDES THAT-- DRY SKIN...EVERYWHERE. EVERYWHEREEEE lolllll

I'm 22 year old university student , I've had acne for 10 years, have tried EVERYTHING [as most of you I'm sure] and for the first time, I'm seeing results. WOHOO...

P.S. THAT IS NOT and I repeat NOT A hickey on my neck. I've been having really dry skin on my neck , and I've been scratching it during my sleep [ It's bad, I know!] and now I look like I have a gigantic hickey. number of times asked = 4204208402042.

WOW! This is inspiring! Without make up and your skin is already looking great Ahhhhhh can't wait! Your skin is going to look gorgeous, you must be so pleased!

Thank you so much LiviBM I'm sooo excited to see what the next three months await. I know it won't be easy, but I've been through three months, I can do it! I read your post as well, you just started a couple of days ago right? Be strong, there are going to be days where you feel like CRAP, but be positive; trust me , it helps a lot

Hey, awesome progress!! It looks like it is getting progressively clearer and clearer

positive attitude is definitley the right way to go Goshhh, im only on Day 5 yet im quite excited but i have SO LONG haha... and im so impatient.. looking in the mirror all the time praying its improved but obviously it hasnt haha. Thanks for the advice i really need it! Has it been tough to get where you are? Do you only go by the accutane or are you using other products too?

Thank you so much Sethy! I appreciate it, you can't imagine how happy it makes me knowing that slowly , but surely, things are looking better.
Are you on anything? (sounds weird. lol)

TRUST ME, time flies. I can't believe I finished my third month already. feels like I just started and I'm already halfway. Keep being positive as you are, and I assure you it will fly by

I only use accutane, nothing else. I use cetaphil for a cleanser and a moisturiser for my face [SPF 60], you?

keep your head up! i KNOW it sucks right now, but things will get better! don't lose hope and stay through your course! give me updates too!
