But in family get togethers I'm the only one with a problem with my skin. When I go out into town with friends I can't see anyone with acne or bad scars like mine. So yea, I feel like a freak all the time too. Mostly when I catch a look at my scars in the mirror.

same here! my mum will literally drag me out to dinner with the family or to family get togethers. She thinks its vain that I don't want to go out because of acne which is a total joke. I always end up going to family get togethers but end up having fun with my cousins and realise no one is actually paying attention to my acne as much as I doI am the opposite. My parents wouldn't let me hide away. It was tough but I think it actually helped me face things when I just don't want to leave my room.

You aren't the only person in the world with acne, so you aren't alone in this. I understand being embarrassed about having acne. I first started developing acne at 11 years old! I was the only person in my whole class who had acne. I felt like a 'freak' and so out of place.
But now that I've gotten older, I realized I can't let acne control me, and my life. My acne is clearing up a lot but even before, I learned that clear skin or not, I can't hide from the world.
So please, don't let this take over you. Go out, enjoy life. Hang with friends. Go to the family get togethers. Letting acne control you is so not worth it. I wish you luck.

I knew I would break out because what I eat and what i apply on my skin is pulling out the toxins to the skin. It is cleansing. I went all raw and stopped applying BP. I was ready for this anyways.. it isn't severe.. I would say mild, but have some red marks. I will break out more, but w.e! I hope once I stop breaking out, then no more acne!
I am trying my best not to let my pimples bleed because sometimes it bleeds. I have to be careful because I don't want new scars.
