Hey there I am new to this site and I wanted to share my acne troubles in the hope of getting rid of it, After shaving I noticed a lump, which is this, http://s1163.photobu...nt=IMAG0486.jpg

and this is the acne I've had for a long time http://s1163.photobu...nt=IMAG0488.jpg, I didn't fit all my face in but the I have a few of those purple spots.

I don't know what's happened, I've been to the doctors numerous amounts of times and I've received a cream with Benozyl Peroxide in it and some tablets I take once a day.

could be an ingrown hair, do you have wavy/curly hair?
There are prodcust specifically for men and shaving irritation and witch hazel has helped my husband with shaving irritation. make sure your skin is warm enough.

Thanks for your reply and well it is curly once it grows a lot for example i didnt shave for 2 weeks and then noticed a big drop in the acne but then when i shaved they re-appeared again and i suspected it was an ingrown hair, but when i run my finger over my face i feel little bumps and if pressed hard they get a lot bigger and more visible for some reason. i did squeeze one which was very big on my face it was purple and blood just squirted out and it re filled with blood right after, i am really confused.
