I am so dumb!

i (had) a cyst in between my eyes...maybe a quite large whitehead as it came to a head relatively fast. Anyway, I was seeing if it was achey and it kinda exploded on me! And a bunch of blood came out and now it looks like it might scar!!!

Any tips/ideas/ANY comfort!?!?

I'm going to suggest something that a lot of people probably would be afraid to do with acne prone skin. If it were me, I would put some Neosporin on it. Not the pain reliever kind, but the other stuff. I've used Neosporin on my face before with no problems, but everyone is different. However, if you want to prevent scarring you can't really beat it. If you put a good bit of Neosporin on it before bed and leave it overnight (maybe up to 12 hours) you may wake up to see that your skin has healed exceptionally well in a short period. Again, some people will probably scream nononono don't ever do that, but it's worked for me. My 2 cents.

It doesnt sound like you really attacked the cyst, you just kind of poked at it and it popped. If this is the case then it sounds like the cyst was ready to pop and that means that the chance for scarring is minimal, even with you being on month 5 of accutane. The reason most people dont like the use of neosporin on the face is because there is a 10 percent chance of developing allergic dermatitis and some studies suggest a higher risk with the skin on the face. I would use 100% petroleum oil or a thick moisturizer like eucrin cream on the cyst to help it heal faster, but like I said I doubt it will scar based on how you described the cyst popped. I don't even know. I think you can pop it and it scars or you can leave it alone and it scars too. Not getting them is the best to begin with but, if you have this type of acne, its a problem and I am not sure what to do for it. I am trying to figure this out. Everytime I get clear, I think I finally beat it, and then, it happens again. I hope this is it for acne.

I put on vaseline a couple of times and it HAS healed quite a bit!!!

Pray. The first time I ever noticed something is never gonna be the same again, I felt low so low, I felt like giving up. Its hard when you dedicate your life to health, to a diet, and try all sorts of things only to still fall prey to a shitty fate. I am trying my best to be positive. I am currently on accutane. I hope this is it for me. I hope so for you too. Your hair is long so hopefully, at the very worst, you could hide it with your long hair. I shaved mine off. I am curently nursing a break out. Four not so nice pimples. It started out as just one and it got better. I hope it doesn't scar and then, these other ones came up. I hope to god it doesn't scar.
