I'm a 23 year old female, and I've had back acne since I was 11. I also break out on my chest, neck, upper stomach, upper arms/shoulders... pretty much every where. I have never worn tanks tops, worn a bikini in public, etc.
I just ordered the regimen system and I am praying that it works, because I have tried everything. OTC, proactiv, clinique, prescription medications, tanning, natural treatments, tea tree oil, vitamins, etc. Nothing has worked. They work for people I know, but I think after 12 years, I'm just resistent.
I'm sure most females just lurk due to insecurities.

I'm a girl and my back and chest acne is much more severe than my facial acne, when i have a bad breakout on my back and chest i just tend to hide it with crew neck tops or scarfs. we're good at hiding it haha
.
Yep I have pretty much the same problem. For some reason lately it's died down quite a bit. There isn't as much "active" acne but of course there's still ALOT of scarring. Ohh!! Try this, though i'm not sure if it's what made the difference, I often keep my shirt off when i'm in my room to let things "breath". Maybe I should have done some before and after photos or something, but if you were able to run your hand down my back you could probably feel how flat the scarring has become.

I have it...really bad.Been YEARS and nothing has helped it, except Accutane. I am trying to treat it topically now with zero luck. It's all over my chest, too. Definitely a hormonal imbalance.Lucky me!
Speaking of hormoone imbalance... you're not drinking milk are you? Though my face is always really oily it doesn't break out like it used too. I bought milk and cereal which I ate for like a week and BOOM! I broke ouy like crazy! It faded as soon stopped eating it and now i'm afraid of breakfast!
Edit: Bacon, Egg & Cheese buscuits are here to stay!!!
