I am amazed how much difference just one subcision and n-lite session made for you tamara, I am very impressed!

do you think you will get subcision done again? or are you happy with your skin as it stands? (quite understandably!, since the improvment so far is really amazing!)

well done!

I actually had the N-Lite done twice, two weeks apart.

Yes, I am happy with the results. I am not sure if I will get subcision done again or not. The full result of the N-Lite will not be visible until about 90 days or so, so I will wait to make the decision at/around that time. I may opt for needling just to try something different - we'll just have to wait and see.

I will try to update the webpage at around 60 days and 90 days so that we can judge the results at those times.

Hi oursfan, I have seen your scar treatment. To be honest with you ,your scars are still there. It did not improve by subcision. I also went on subcision last March, but as days went by, and as the swelling went down your scar with reoccur. I hope you should try ISOLAGEN treatment. I would try this particular treatment if I go to U.S(since I live from Asian country). I am an Asian. I think ISOLAGEN is the last hope for depress scars. I have tried puch excision already but the dented area are still there.

what!? her scars are still there - yes, but they have shown an amazing improvement for just one session of subcision and 2 n-lite sessions.

and by the way, if you want isolagen injections you will have to come over here to the UK as you cant get it done in the US yet.

Lonelyman: I realize my scars are still there. You have a right to your opinion, but I disagree that it did not improve, I think that the scars have improved. I agree that Isolagen looks promising, but I don't think that any treatment will give anyone 100% results.

lonelyman - what???? Tamaras scars have impoved by at least 30% according to my eyes. I think that is a great result. And I agree with Tamara, I think big improvements are made by having various treatments that support each other.

At the moment, Isolagen is not approved in the US, so no point going there for it.... but it's happening in the UK - and I am on that list. :-

And Isolagen is not the 'last hope,' it is one of many good treatments, and even Dr Chu (who offers this in the UK) says - for depressed scars, you need subcision before the Isolagen or it won't work that well (unless it's just a few wrinkles we're talking about)

I really think that ISOLAGEN is 100 % improve. The indentions will be gone but there are marks from scars. I have talk to one plastic surgeon here where he injects silicone oil. Told me that the indentions will be gone but the scar(the mark from acne is still there). Hope you should try ISOLAGEN(since it is available in your country). One of my scar got bigger than the original after subcision(where the doctor didnt mark the spot when he perform subcision). Dont try silicone coz I have heard some negative stories in the internet forum. I have done one punched excision last april but the indented are still there coz the doctor failed to put the inside stich, and its only outside stich. I have consulted another plastic surgeon(he's old and a lot of experience), told me that to wait at least 2 months before restarting excision. He told There must be inside stich rather than the outside, coz if inside stich is lacking one has to wonder why intended scars are still there. The purpose of inside stich is to close the indented scar rather than the outside. But the inside stich is implanted forever inside your skin. He told me a suture called PROLENE is implated inside the skin(maybe size is .7 or.8 sutures and as thin as the hair). Disolvable sutures are not allowed coz it vomits inside skin and will spit the outside. Just like nylon sutures is implanted in face-life and produce no skin reactions. I will be going with this procedure in June 3rd week and will update for excision.....
one has to wonder why skin cancer like this:

http://www.plasticsurgery4u.com/procedure_...on_bishopm.html

cut then close leaves no dented scar, it is because there is an inside stich.
I have heard so many negative about excision. I think the lacking is inside stich rather than outside. Before you wanna perform this procedure
you should talk to your doctor and be sure your doctor is old coz older doctors have many experience and skill. You can research more on this site about excisions. I also wonder after huge excisions where there is no depress scar only a thin line...I think the answer is there is inside.

:-({|=

these is one of the examples of skin excision(depress scar). One has to wonder why there is dented scar after excision:

http://beautymaker.hypermart.net/english/s...pressedscar.htm

there is an inside stich,if inside stich is lacking so tissues depress, that means dented scar will form. These is not my doctor I dont leave in Taiwan but from another country. But I have e-mailed this doctor for opinion coz last April I was disapointed with my doctor who perform excision. I was lucky coz I did only 1 scar(experiment for excision), it become more dented than the original scar...

Thanks Lola and swizzchard!
I'm not wearing any makeup in any of the photos on the webpage, so it's not that.... Not sure what it is but it's cool!

That is an amzing improvement Oursfan, I'm so pleased for you. I'm glad I checked out your photos. I'm thinking subsicion may be a better treatment option for me than needling.

Very nice. I do see quite a difference. Your face looks plumped up and smoother. You must be happy.

Tamara,
How are you doing? I would love to hear the update with your results?
What percentage do you think you were left with in the end now that all this time has passed?
Thanks for all the info!

The price I paid for N-Lite was $500 for two treatments, but your Dr. might charge more, or less.

kimberly1234: I am doing fine, thanks. :D
I'm not good at guessing percentages but I am fairly pleased with the results.

Tamara - just took a look at your new photos - WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :(

Seriously, the improvement is enormous. Perhaps you can post a photo of you before N-Lite and subcision next to you now - that gives the biggest picture.

For those of you who can't find the photo journal.. here it is:
