Ok so I have sebborheic dermatitis so I was looking sround for a product that would help without making my acne worse (although my acne isnt that bad, but the dermatitis looks horrible) and Epsom salts were suggested to me (apparently its pretty good for acne as well) but im not sure how to use it properly - iv tried wetting my face with warm water (after iv cleansed it), getting a handfull of it, adding a bit of water to it then trying to pat it onto my face (what I was told to do) but its hard to get much to sit on my fce and it doesnt seem like it absorbs or is doing much just sitting there before I wash it off, so am I using it wrong? Maybe im suppossed to scrub with it or mix it with water in a container or something and then wash once its absorbed into the water?
How Do I Use Epsom Salts?

I am SD and pityrosporum follicultis and I soak in epson salt baths a couple nights a week. I have a little folliculitis on my cheek and chin so I just put my chin under the water. For SD you might want to try Head and Shoulders classic clean as a face wash. Best to lather and leave it on 5-10 minutes then rinse. It helps to clear it up. I also ordered Noble pyrithizone zinc 2% bar because I heard it has less additives then the shampoo. As for putting the salt directly on your skin, I haven't heard anything about how to do that.

Yeah I thought it was a bit weird to just leave the salt on my face, I didnt really know how it would do anything without scrubing or absorbing (although I have to admit my acne is looking better, but it hasnt done much for my dermatitis). I havent really got time for a bathe and I dont really want to go spending money on more products at the moment so im thinking of maybe just adding a heap of it into a big container of water and letting my face soak in it, that would be the proper way to do it wouldnt it?
