Ive been on a candida diet for about 7 months now, and im pretty much clear. but i do breakout sometimes when i eat too much fruit or sweets. My diet mostly consists of a protien(beef, pork, chicken, fish, eggs) and with veggies. thats pretty much all i eat. But ive been wanting some type of pasta alternative.
Are these okay to eat? or even healthy?
Shirataki noodles are 0 carbs and 0 calories. its a soluble fiber, thats all.
Also ive been wanting to season my protiens , to make them taste better. i use herbs and sea salt and other spices. But i want to use soy sauce. Not sure, but i did find Braggs Liquid Aminos, are these a good alternative to soy sauce to cook with?
Shirataki Noodles(Glucomanan) , Braggs Liquid Aminos Etc

The soy aminos are probably ok, but that depends on your own individual level of intolerance, if any. Same with the shirataki noodles. There are buckwheat noodles you might want to try. It also depends on what else you eat. Hopefully plenty of nutrient dense foods? On the other hand, the fiber might bind up quite a bit of the nutrients and reduce how much you absorb.
And of course, you can often substitute squashes and eggplant in your recipes: spaghetti squash, strips of zuchini or similar squash made with a veggie peeler, slices of squash or eggplant in layered dishes, make butternut squash gnocchi etc. You could visit the better grain and the gluten free threads here for more ideas and recipes: http://www.acne.org/...ecipe-resource/
