Hi guys, after spending some time reading this forum and witnessing all those encouraging successes some of you have, I've finally decided to face my scars and determined to improve them no matter how insignificant.

I have been derma stamping for 1 month, though I still yet to see the result. I'm using the 2.0mm derma stamp every alternate week, and apply Vitamic C+E serum (contains Ferulic Acid as ingredient) daily. I am also using the less invasive Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser to wash face.

I understand that derma stamping is going to treat solely on my rolling scars. So I'm looking into chemical peels that may improve my pores, textures and overall skin tone especially on my jaw and chin areas.

Right now I'm having a hard time deciding which to use. My impression is that glycolic and TCA are the most common chemical peels you guys use/mention. But I have a question: Is chemical peel the right solution to address my 3 said problems?

I am also thinking of Retin-A considering it has the ability, if my knowledge is correct, to target the acne outbreak on my jaw area as well as building up collagen to improve my scars. Is it worth a shot?

Your experienced inputs are greatly appreciated. I hope the images below do not make your meal tasteless, haha =\

try Retin-A before peels...if you have sensitive skin...i used glycolic acid peel before...for a while and it made my skin really sensitive...some reasons, enlarged my pore(i heard it's supposed to minimize pore size) too...so i stopped using it. never have an experience with tca...

i am using Retin-A for 3 weeks now..every night(small amount) and it's working for me. my skin texture improved...no irritation so far with a good amount of moisturizer...but hope it is not temporary thing...

also bought microdermabrasion home kit from Olay...haven't tried it yet, but will try it sometimes next week.

Good luck Posted Image

If u have actually been reading the site you would know that u ARE NOT suppose to be using the dermastamp or roller that often. You are suppose to use it at that length every 4-6 weeks minimum. You WILL NOT see ANY results from derma rolling or stamping for MONTHS if not 1 YEAR to 2 YEARS. Do not use it that often because you can do a lot more damage than good. You need to make a post about dermarolling or stamping and ask some questions before you keep stabbing your face before its had time to properly heal under the skin. The amount that u r stamping could honestly cause you to just stay swelled from the inflamation and give u the appearance of healing your scars or cause more scarring.
