Mandelic Acid Few Questions!

Hello i have recenly started using Mandelic Acid 20% for my acne and red acne scars all across my forehead basically the T zone , now the rest of my face is clear i just want rid of all the red marks across my forehead and i was wondering if it would be okay to use the mandelic acid on just the forehead and not the full face?
