curious.
trying to get an idea if im doing things right, mine arent multipling so im thinking im not..even though its pretty simple so just wondering if anyone else makes water kefir rather than the milk kefir?

i do have a question, considering you have to add a decent amount of sugar to the water...in the end do you end up drinking that sugar or does the kefir grains eat it hence the culturing? i was drinking it the other night and was wondering if i was really just drinking a big glass of sugar :P

Yea I make both, The kefir metabolizes the sugar so you dont take all the sugar in. If you are new to it sounds like you havnt been at it long enough to notice them multiply its subtle and then one day you'll jus realise wow i have way more.

Not sure if it helps me too much but just do it anyway...have been doing the milk kefir for ages and it definitely helped........ to an extent.

okay :)
ive been using the water kefir for about a month i would say. i didnt want to use the milk kefir coz i didnt wanna drink dairy. is water kefir much the same though? does it not really help at all? :/ i also take a probiotic, im not sure if its too strong but i was hoping the water kefir would be better.. ive heard many negatives about it though :/

Oh yea? negatives about water kefir or the probiotic? I know the kefir is much more potent than the probiotic having much more bacteria. I think the difference betwwen water kefir and milk kefir is difference in strains of bacteria (milk kefir having more) but overall they're quite similar. I think i havnt noticed the water kefir make a difference because i was already on the milk kefir...id reckon if i started with water kefir i would have noticed a difference but taking both seems pointless for acne atleast maybe its still helping my health?

Have you noticed a difference?

oh okay thanks. yeah the kefir, i've heard its much more potent but ive read people say its sometimes just the same as a pill.
so im kinda taking both. i thought that acne was a big part of things like leaky gut etc so probiotics were suppose to really help. i know ive read success stories from probiotics. although my acne is so so hormonal related so im not putting too much hope in probiotics ive been taking them for around 2-3 months now and kefir around 1 month and havnt noticed a difference. im gonna keep at it just in case coz i used to be the biggst alcoholic lol so just wanna do all i can
