I have received lots of messages and emails asking me for an update as well as a lot of messages from people who have thanked me for my positive outlook on my scars.. Well let me update you, I have not done any scar treatments since early 2011.. Basically I have forgotten about my scars. Life is the best that it can be at this point, I am a few credits away from graduating, have a good job, I am getting married in December :) and I have the biggest outlook on life now then I ever have..

I know my scars are there, and I wouldnt mind continuing individual needling of my scars, but anything seriously invasive such as lasers of any kind I will not do. I have continued to take the following supplements daily: zinc, vitamin C, msm, and calcium and I also wear zinc based sunscreen daily from solar sense. I get outbreaks here and there and at times I look at whats left from the pimples and think I am going to get deep scars but slowly it appears as if they fill in within weeks leaving very slight scars that I dont care about. I dont know what part of my regimen I would contribute this to but whatever

I still see a lot of faces here still searching for treatments, and i cant knock em because i was once wasting time on here all day searching (even while at work) letting my life pass, it wasnt until i accepted the reality of things that I was able to move forward.. Either you take risks and seek treatments hoping for improvement or you can accept that most people will look at u the same no matter whats on your face.. Or of course you can seek treatment while you still live your life :) at one point most of you guys have to accept that the scars are a part of you, you most certainly dont have to live with them the rest of your life but for the time being they are a part of you and they DONT make you any less of a person.. You are no different then the next person with gorgeous skin, you are human with your own imperfections which everyone has just different. Learn to love yourselves because we are alll beautiful and work on things that you CAN change that will make you better. Finish school, work out, make money, find love, find life!

We are all equal with equal opportunities, you cant live if you dont take risks so go out there and live your lives! We can all find happiness within ourselves, i am a true testament to that. With that said I may be deactivating this account because at this point in my life I do not need it, maybe i will leave it on to answer many of your questions but all in all I wish you all the best!

Oh ... I also thought the same as you in the past few days, of course I will still be searching for treatments to make my scars less visible, but I also decided to not let chances pass by anymore :) Anyway, persons who will not accept me because of my scars, are not worth my attention :) So, yeah...I totally agree with you!

Thanks man for everything. I just want to say congratulations on marriage man. I sent you a email over the holidays. You have inspired me. I would be lying if I said I did not seek out options, cosmetics or some sort of alternative to this life I know. I have taken action in so many different ways but, I have a long road ahead of me.I did try to email you. Not sure if you got it or if I checked a response. Thank you for giving back here man. I hope you don't go permanently. I think a lot of look back here when we are in our darkest times and this has meant a lot to us. I think you are great

Yeah I really liked your post man. I want to try and just let go n stuff but it seems so hard. I feel like if i had a girl who loved me ide feel different too. LIke part of the reason i want to fix these scars is becuse i want my future partner to be happy with ALL of me. But now i see that thats not how life works. I need to just except myself for who I am. Stop looking to the television to show me life. The fake people you see on T.V. are false representations of reality. I now feel like if a woman loves me for how I look, it will mean SOOO much more to me then if if my skin had no scarring. SHe would like me for me faults and all, and ide do the same with her. It would reassure me that the relationship was real.
