I have read lots here about using juice from a fresh lemon to fade acne scars, but has anyone had success with rubbing the affected skin with the inside of a lemon rind rather than the juice?

I'll try again...does anyone know if the inside of the rind is as effective at fading acne scars as the juice? It doesn't sting as much, that's for sure.
