Anyone have a good lotion to use on a rash on my hand from Tane? My Dr. wanted me to buy his product, but I'm sure there is something in the store that will work just fine!
thanks

I had the worst hand rashes while I was on accutane! I'm prone to eczema and got some gross ectopic eczema on my hands during my course. I used Aveeno brand "Eczema Care Cream" during the day, and Aveeno "Intense Relief Overnight Cream" at night. I've boycotted Aveeno now based on the fact that they test on animals, but their products did work for me at the time I was using them.
Something made up of a colloidal oatmeal would likely be very beneficial to you! I've been using an oatmeal patchouli soap that my friend makes and haven't had any skin rash issues lately so I don't currently use any creams or anything. You could go to your local health food store and look for something with colloidal oatmeal and perhaps something with mint in it if your skin is itchy.

Don't use any random lotion, because many contain mineral oil and dimethicone - which only do harm for the skin.
I had wickedly bad hand rashes, and I use coconut oil. I just put it on in the morning, and it stays on longer than lotion (It doesn't really make the redness go away, but it's great at moisturizing.. But I agree that some oatmeal can work too.
