So today I'm starting to slow down my regimen routine. It just takes an insane amount of time to do every day, especially in the morning when I'm trying to get ready, eat, and get to class on time (I'm a college student). I cleansed as usual in the shower this morning, but when it came to the treatment step I barely applied any bp, just a finger tips worth, and it absorbed quickly and saved me about 5-10 minutes. Still moisturized of course, because until I do that my skin is very dry from the cleansing step.

Ideally, I would like to just cleanse and moisturize in the mornings, and do the full regimen at night. If I stay clear then, I will start reducing how much bp I use at night, and in the long run, I'd like to quit the regimen because it is just killer to do as a college student with a crazy fast paced life. I want to be able to just cleanse morning and night, and spot treat with bp as necessary, but who knows if that is even possible for me.

My dad had acne from age 15 to about 20. Mine started at 16 and I'm now 21 so maybe doing the regimen as long as I have will make my body just finally stop, or at least slow down to the occasional couple zits a month, which is what I get now. Only way to know if your body has grown out of it is to stop and see what happens I suppose.

Anyway, does anyone who has used a similar process to slowing down the regimen or quitting over time have any advice? I figure I will use what's left of the bottles I just got before trying to quit completely, and that is contingent on whether I remain clear or not, but just slow it down more and more as time passes. Starting today. Hope I stay clear....
