What is this on the tip of my nose and what is the best possible way to treat it?

• Headless red bump swollen
  
• Been stuck with it for a year, eventually dies when popped but leaves hyper pigmentation mark and comes back few months each time later
  
• Has appeared in same place 3 times and exact same size

I have no idea if its a basic headless pimple or cyst so feedback is appreciated !

i have something similar on the apple of my cheek. does yours hurt/sting when it becomes inflamed again? i have gone about 4-5 rounds over 3-4 months with mine swelling, popping, going away and so on, resulting in dark marks. it S U C K S.

here's what I have noticed:
-i have 2-3 within one small, triangular area. it seems like one cyst at first glance but i can *feel* three different bumps underneath.
-i have popped it on occasion, but only when it progressed to hardened bump with a head just below the surface.
-mine is definitely a cyst that later produces a thick white head.
^ i likely should NOT have popped it. i think you should see a derm, make certain it's a cyst, and possibly get it treated with a cortisone shot.

if it is acne, what has helped is intensive spot treating with BP. i really slather it on the spot. like DKR says, err on the side of caution and use more.
once it starts to heal, keep using a regular amount of BP all over and spot treat with AHA to work on the dark marks.

this is what works best for me and, like i said, you should really see your derm. you don't want to keep popping and risk permanent scarring. i regret it as it keeps the cycle going.
