How long does it take to get your first supply of accutane? My dermatologist agreed to put me on the medication on Jan. 13th. It is now the 31st and I still don't haven't started taking it because my pharmacy doesn't have my prescription ready. What is the hold up?

I have no idea how any of us could know the answer to your question unless we worked for your pharmacy. Ring them up and moan at them to get it sorted!

I asked for it and I got it 15-20 minutes later and yeah, you should call them like what theflydfan said.

As said above, call the pharmacy and ask. My pharmacy messes something up every month, almost. It helps to keep in contact with them because I guess the techs are pretty forgetful.
It's not supposed to take this long at all, so call them soon!
