So I've been having this problem for over 4 months. I'm 16 years old and currently taking no prescription and no certain cream.
I have during the last 4 months, but I recently noticed all these creams do to me is damage my skin and irritate it. [Even if its sensitive]
So, I just want to know if the scars are that bad and what could I do as a young person that is still growing that has a lean diet and exercises daily. Some say its hyperpigmentation, ice pick scars, post-acne marks. I just don't know guys! I can't go out as often as I used to because of this. My life changed, COMPLETELY. Please don't hesitate to help me in my problem. If you have similar issues, HMU about it.
I am really looking for an improvement. Im not wanting for flawless skin, just improvement. Thanks Guys!Hoping the best!
Here are the pictures, UGLY me >.<

Hola,
I used to have similar problems in the cheeks, like you.
The redness is hyperpigmentation, but it looks like you have some indented acne scars as well. Hyperpigmentation does fade in 6-12 months, but only if all active acne is resolved, and it looks like you may still have some active acne.
Here's what i would do:
1. Go to a deramtologist. He/she will most likely want to get your acne under control before all else, which means that your next step should be:
2. Get your acne under control. Can't treat scars unless you take care of the acne first. I mean, technically you could, but it would potentially undermine any progress you make on the scars.
3. Work on fixing the hyperpigmentation. You can either wait or do non-ablative fractional lasers and/or IPL.
4. Work on the indented scars. That's a tough fish to fry. There are a lot of different options, not all work for everyone, and they all have varying levels of efficacy. A dermatologist will be better fit to discuss your options.

Its probably not scarring. From the looks of you, ide say very very minor indents in a couple of places. Clear your acne up, then maybe use some tazarac in the chek area only. Youll be completely worry free by that time.

Thanks Guys!
As of matter of fact, I went to my Derm yesterday. Since my medicaid doesn't cover nothing at all , I could only use Retin-A 0.025% Gel and Deoxycycline.
I've been taking that for the last 4 months , but honestly, I took them insufficiently.
So I am going to have to take them as directed and see if anything improves. Since I have sensitive skin, I should probably start off slow with the Gel , don't you think?
And as for the scars/indents , I'm going to have to deal with them and I'll probably treat them with Aloe Vera after my acne clears. Thank you!

Retin-A is pretty tough on sensitive skin, so take it slow and use it only at night (it makes your skin redder if exposed to the sunlight).
