Since my acne's been coming back fairly steadily since my first course (5 months at 80mg/day) ended back in May 2010 and all the topicals/antibiotics + spiro I've taken since haven't worked, my derm and I have discussed doing another round and I have my bloodwork order for the initial pregnancy test. My question is this---when I took my first course, I went to my ob/gyn (who has since stopped practicing) to have her sign off on my birth control counseling paperwork, which is what was entered into the iPledge system. If my birth control methods have not changed AT ALL since then (i.e. my copper IUD is good until 2019 and my boyfriend and I still use condoms 100% of the time), do I have to go get yet another form filled out, or can iPledge still use my initial one? It's not that cost is an issue on that (since it's reimbursed by the program) but around here 3 weeks-a month is the average wait to get a gyno appointment, and my last course ended up getting delayed a month or two because the timing wasn't absolutely perfect.
Thanks in advance.

I think you will need to do it all over again. They're nazis about this stuff.
However, I didnt need birth control counseling, or anything like that. I think my insurance just verifies that I fill my birth control prescription every month.
Ask your dermatologist about it, and if they're no help, try to contact iPledge. But act fast in case you need to wait for an appointment!!
