*I believe this is the forum to talk about this in, jojoba oil is only really used in the regimen.

I have been looking into castor oil as I remember seeing it in a book about starving youself with apples to cure acne, it mentioned applying castor oil to your face.

Searching round, I found some information:

Quote

Castor oil is rich in a fatty acid called ricinoleic acid which is effective in killing microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi that causes infection on the face. Aside from eliminating harmful bacteria, the oil is also a natural emollient that can effectively trap moisture within the skin, reduce dehydration of the epidermis and keep the skin …

From this Website (I'm linking the website because I did not write the above, I don't intend to promote it or suggest it is beneficial for curing acne.)

Even so, the website is flawed in some places, saying you should 'steam' your face and rub your face with a cloth to remove dirt, and we all know here those actions are both sins!

Has anyone had any experiences with castor oil? I have some beside me right now and I'm curios as to try something with it.

I had a weird acne breakout on my shoulder, and for an experiment i rubbed castor oil on it every night for a week and it went away! i was impressed but still not convinced to put in on my face yet. I can deal with my shoulder freaking out more than my face :-)

I've used pure castor oil on my face before and unfortunately it breaks me out. I guess it just aggravates my face but for I do have intolerant kind of sensitive skin. They do use castor oil on many things though well usually its hydrogenated castor oil and whenever I used a cleanser or some sort that had castor oil it would break me out but maybe you could test t if you want to be sure :) it might work great for you, it is on the thicker side though just saying lol.
