The more I'm reading about my sensitivities the more appealing enzymes become! Finding out your intolerances/sensitivities and then using an enzyme whenever exposing oneself to the compounds found in these foods.
If you haven't taken a peek at the ZAG enzymes/lectin thread Alternativista began I suggest you do.
Pretty interesting stuff, reminds me of how much betaine HCL gets brought up on this forum.

I hadn't realised you could take enzymes to help with intolerances, seems I have lots more reading to do. I did skim over the ZAG thread but I haven't actually gotten round to addressing any of the points raised in it yet. I have more hyperkeratinization than active acne so I expect it would be useful to me.
Do you/have you taken enzymes?

ZAG enzyme thread: http://www.acne.org/...me-t247794.html Somewhere in there, there's a link to another thread by Nowash that has more info specific to enzymes.

in simpler terms and because i dont want to read so extensively into it that certain foods inhibit this zag enyme and others promot it? So basically eat this that or the other thing? as i did read about the legums being inhibitors, i tend to avoid to much legums because of past experiences.
interesting. So is supplementing zinc any help to this zinc alpha glycoprotein enzyme?
