Well, this is officially my second go at this regimen and I KNOW it works. The first time I was on it, I was completely clear and happy. Eventually I settled down with a girl and she requested me to stop messing around with my skin. Plus, she hated the smell of the moisturizer, how I would occasionally look greasy, blah blah blah. Stupid me, I did it. Then again I was happy with my skin because I had someone who didn't care how I ended up looking.

Now that I have moved on, my acne is much less severe then it was during my first attempt. (Actually pretty mild) Anyways, back to the question "What should I do now?"

After a week back on the regimen I used too much BP too fast. I was going with a fingers length twice a day and I am now paying for it. (Forgetful mistake) Although I am not completely full blown red, you can still tell I am redder than the natural skin tone. I already used BP this morning and what should I be doing now? Should I apply a little bit of BP or just throw on some moisturizer? Should I let the redness subside before I start applying a much smaller amount of BP?

(Will lower the amount of BP for the next few weeks!)

One more question.
For my job, I work outside. Usually I spend about 7-8 hours outside in cold temperatures with occasional windy days. How should I take care of my face in this situation or am I just over thinking things?

Thanks for everything!

If you feel like you've started too fast and suffered the consequences, then I would recommend that you have a two day break (just moisturiser) and then start again but much more slowly. Those first 4-6 weeks are just awful, and doubly so if starting too quickly with the BP.

Your other question about spending 8 hours outside in cold wind, yes I think that making sure your face is protected is essential. Ensure that you have a nice good coat of moisturiser, and perhaps consider putting on another layer half way through the day. Sometimes cold weather is more severe on your skin than hot weather.

And finally, its perfectly understandable that you stopped the regimen when you entered into a new relationship. Following the regimen properly takes a lot of effort and commitment. Perhaps once you have become clear again, you might try reducing your BP applications to once a day and see if you stay clear? That way its less time consuming and you can direct more time to your NEW girlfriend and still be acne free. HOORAY! :)
