Ok, for those that have used on the spot treatment by neutregena.... it mentions you start slowly, how slowly?? I guess I am confused do I just put it on the problem spots or the whole face??

With BP stuff, don't just dot it on the pimple. Put some around the affected area.
For an example if you have three pimples on your cheeks, put the BP on your cheeks.
However if you are using strong BP eg 10%, I'd suggest just put it on the pimple itself to avoid burning.

On the spot treatment is for spots, but like the poster above noted, BP medication is actually to be placed on all the affected sections of your face. It's better to treat with BP and spot with something different like sulfur or salcyclic acid.
Don't waste money on spot treatments because you're getting very little product for the price. If you have a mask that is drying, you can spot on that for an hour or so to spot treat.
I recommend Dan's BP for everyday treatment though versus buying the small bottles in the store.
Additionally, just because something says it's a treatment, don't forget to check your ingredients. Some treatment products will irritate your acne further by what's added to it. Dan's AHA could be a spot treatment as well.
